Camp Erin® Modesto is a fun-filled four day camp for children and teens ages 6 to 17 who have experienced the death of someone close to them. Camp is filled with fun and traditional camp activities, combined with grief education and emotional support.

The program is led by grief professionals and trained volunteers. Camp Erin Modesto provides a unique opportunity for grieving children to bond with peers who are facing a similar circumstance. Campers benefit by learning that they are not alone and that there are others who share similar feelings; that their feelings are perfectly normal; healthy ways to express their feelings; and to honor/remember the person who died.

Camp Jack Hazard, in the heart of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, serves as our camp location. Camp Erin Modesto is offered free of charge to all campers.
